The Temple Of The King是rainbow乐队1975年发行的唱片Ritchie Blackmore"s Rainbow中的一首。提到Rainbow(彩虹),自然会想起那位传奇人物Ritchie Blackmore。1968年Blackmore和朋友一起组建了Deep Purple深紫乐队（与Led Zeppeline、Black Sabbath并称为英国摇滚乐奠基），在此期间奠定了其无人替代的新古典(前卫)吉它大师地位。1974年离队组建了另一支在摇滚乐历史上拥有显赫地位的rainbow “彩虹”乐队。1997年和他的妻子Candice Night组成的一个夫妻音乐组合，虽然他们的年龄相差了26岁，可是音乐确丝毫不影响这些。Blackmore夫妻档在New Age与World Music的音乐领域已颇富盛名，成为少数能够成功跨足Rock/New Age/World Music的艺人。
尽管历经多次的变革，Ritchie Blackmore却一直如同一棵常青树，保持着旺盛的生命力，活跃在国际乐坛，可谓摇滚乐历史上的一支不朽的传奇。
曾深深被《the temple of the king》打动，每当听到“There in the middle of the people he stands, Seeing, feeling”这样的几句，就有向远方眺望的冲动，一种久违的激情在胸中澎湃，闭上眼睛，似乎看到年轻的王者，开始步入殿堂。万众瞩目，气势恢宏。
